TikTok’s highest-earner Addison Rae Easterling has been cast as the lead in the forthcoming remake of “She’s All That.”

Entitled “He’s All That,” the movie re-imagines the plot of the 1999 comedy with a new twist: Instead of Mr. Popular turning the school nerd into the prom queen, the reboot will be a gender role reversal, reported Variety. This time around, a teen girl, who’s an influencer, turns a dorky boy into prom king.

The 19-year-old, who is the second-most followed star on the platform, will take on the cool kid role played by Freddie Prinze Jr. in the original, which also starred Rachael Leigh Cook, Paul Walker, Usher and Gabrielle Union.

“Mean Girls” and “Freaky Friday” director Mark Waters will helm the remake, which has reportedly been in the works for years, Variety reported. The screenwriter of “She’s All That,” R. Lee Fleming Jr., is also penning the remake — one of the countless reboots greenlighted by Hollywood recently — and Miramax will once again produce.

In fact, Addison Rae is all that. The teen has 60 million followers on TikTok and Forbes named her the platform’s most profitable star, bringing in an estimated $5 million last year. The former Louisiana State University student was a competitive dancer and made videos on the short-form platform for fun before she skyrocketed to fame. She now lives in Los Angeles and is signed with talent agency WME.

Variety reported Easterling is one of the first TikTok stars to be cast in a major studio film.
