“#Amazon Updates Halo Band to Share Live Heart Rate With Other Apps and Exercise Equipment – Review Geek”

Amazon just updated its Halo fitness band with data-sharing features to improve your fitness experience. Starting today, you can enable the wearable fitness tracker to share your live heart rate data with supported third-party apps and equipment.
The Halo tracks your movement, sleeping patterns, body fat, tone of voice, and even your live heart rate during activities. But, of course, sharing that live data is the important part here, and Amazon confirmed the Halo works NordicTrack, Openfit, and CLMBR.
Being able to display your live heart rate on a supported machine while you get in a workout is great for staying motivated, similar to Apple’s “burn bar” feature. And now that Amazon will allow sharing to other apps, you can track your heart rate and workouts over longer periods of time in your preferred fitness app.
Enable heart rate sharing by opening the Halo app on your Android or iOS device, head to Settings > Heart Rate Sharing, switch it on, and you’re all set. Grab a Halo from the link below.
