The cult story of “Death Note” has received sequels from the makers over the years, which have not been published in German. But now that has changed …
«Death Note» is a manga by author Tsugumi Ohba and illustrator Takeshi Obata. It is one of the most famous titles, both the manga (2003-2006) and the anime (2006-2007). In the years that followed, the two artists published a number of additional chapters and these are now available in stores.
The German publisher TOKYOPOP has been publishing the original manga in German since 2006. Now they have published some of the previously unpublished additional chapters in an anthology in German. This includes the state of the world after the original ending. One of the short stories appeared only last year (we reported).
The anthology «Death Note Short Stories» appears with 6 short stories as a regular softcover paperback (left / first cover). For collectors, the volume is also available in a robust hardcover version (right / second cover).
