“Hell’s Paradise’s 2nd Trailer Previews OP, Reveals April 1 Premiere”
A second trailer for the Hell’s Paradise anime adaptation has been released, with the video including a preview of the newly announced opening song “W●RK” by millennium parade × Ringo Sheena. Additionally, it was revealed that the show will premiere on April 1.
It was also announced that an advance screening for the first two episodes will take place on March 19.
Like the teaser trailer and first trailer, Hell’s Paradise‘s second PV features its own staff credits list.
Hell’s Paradise will be streamed by Crunchyroll and Netflix overseas. The anime is based on the Shueisha-published manga by Yuuji Kaku that ran from 2018 to 2021 with 13 tankoubon volumes. The series, which was serialized on Shonen Jump+, has inspired a spin-off manga and a novel.
Viz Media describes the manga, which it publishes as Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku, as:
Gabimaru the Hollow is one of the most vicious assassins ever to come out of the ninja village of Iwagakure. He’s ruthlessly efficient, but a betrayal results in him being handed a death sentence. He has only one hope—in order to earn his freedom, he must travel to a long-hidden island and recover an elixir that will make the shogun immortal. Failure is not an option. On this island, heaven and hell are just a hair’s breadth away.
Kaori Makita (Saezuru Tori Wa Habatakanai: The Clouds Gather) is directing the adaptation with Akira Kindaichi (I’m Quitting Heroing scriptwriter) as series composer, Koji Hisaki ((Saezuru Tori Wa Habatakanai: The Clouds Gather co-main animator) as character designer, and Yoshiaki Dewa (Call of the Night) as music composer. MAPPA is the animation production company.
Meanwhile, the cast includes Chiaki Kobayashi as Gabimaru, Yumiri Hanamori as Yamada Asaemon Sagiri, Ryohei Kimura as Aza Chobe, Kensho Ono as Yamada Asaemon Toma, Rie Takahashi as Yuzuriha, Tetsu Inada as Tamiya Gantetsusai, and Aoi Ichikawa as Yamada Asaemon Fuchi.
