#This was an emotional Dustin Johnson triumph for Paulina Gretzky

Dustin Johnson’s Northern Trust victory on Sunday tugged at the heartstrings in a myriad of ways.

As Johnson competed in Massachusetts over the weekend, longtime love Paulina Gretzky highlighted the golfer’s cheerleaders on social media, including a special spectator from above.

“Rest in Peace my beautiful aunt Cindy,” the 31-year-old posted to her Instagram story Sunday. “I know we have an angel watching over us & cheering on dustin today.. i miss you already.”

In a separate story, Gretzky — who has been engaged to Johnson since 2013 — shared a video of their two sons, Tatum, 5, and River, 3, gushing about their father.

“Dad’s the best,” Tatum said, calling him the “best golfer.”

Johnson, 36, reclaimed his spot as the No. 1-ranked golfer in the world with Sunday’s runaway win. Johnson finished the four rounds in 254 strokes and at 30-under par, the second-lowest total in PGA Tour history.

“I knew I was playing well and I knew the guys were going to shoot low,” Johnson said. “I was trying to get to 30 under. … I’ve never shot 30 under in four rounds. Just something that I wanted to do.”

Johnson will next compete at the BMW Championship this coming weekend.
