#Azumi Waki Posts New MV from Her 1st Concept Album “Ajuju and The Night and The Music”

On the release day of her first concept album “Ajuju and The Night and The Music,” voice actress Azumi Waki (Special Week in Umamusume Pretty Derby, Hinata Tachibana in Tokyo Revengers) also posted a music video for the album’s lead track, “Yume yori Hayaku Kono Koi ga Sametemo” (Even if this love turns sour faster than a dream) on her official YouTube channel.

While working as a popular anime voice actress, she started her activities as a solo singer in January 2020 with her first single “Fuwwato / Citrus” and has released four double A-side singles and one full album.

The theme of the five-song new album is “night.” She said in an interview with Anime Da Vinci, “I’ve sung 31 songs in total so far, and I was thinking all of the previous 26 songs were great when singing them. And the five new songs on this album are contemporary R&B, with a tempo and melody that I’ve never sung before, so I had to think about them a lot inside of me,” and added, “The five songs on this album have a mature feel, which make you listen. At first I thought, ‘Ugh, this is going to be difficult,’ but I liked the melody lines of all the songs, so it was just a fun recording session.”
