“The Strongest Hero Mobile Game”
Crunchyroll Games has announced that it will be publishing the mobile RPG My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero on iOS and Android phones. They will commemorate the news with special in-game celebrations that will start today and be viewed in the game itself.
The mobile game, based on the My Hero Academia franchise, was first launched in 2021 with more than 12 million active downloads in less than a year. It features over 24 playable characters, including Midoriya and friends from class 1-A. The game will immerse players into the world of UA High School and pro heroes, while taking down villains and fulfilling special quests to become the strongest hero.
Among the many in-game celebrations Crunchyroll Games have planned, some of them include:
- • The launch of the “Character Summon Card” for Best Jeanist, the Fiber Master pro hero.
- • A special “Strongest Hero x Crunchyroll Celebration” login event that will run for seven days starting April 6, 2022. Users who play the game every day during this window will receive seven “Card Summon Tickets.”
- • One “Character Select Ticket” reward delivered to the in-game mailbox of all players who play the game between April 6-20.
- • One general code that can be redeemed for three “Card Summon Tickets.” The code TSH2CR2022 is available to be redeemed until April 20, 2022.
New players can take advantage of these promotions ahead of the game’s one-year anniversary this spring, which will include more events, login bonuses, giveaways, and character releases. There are also new functions such as the Arena battle mode and Alliance content that players can use to battle each other or form new in-game groups.
The release of My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero in foreign territories comes after the merger between Crunchyroll and Funimation. The now unified company hopes to explore even more gaming opportunities for its Crunchyroll Games division to leverage and maximize more potential titles in the future.
The division’s general manager, Terry Li, has helped launch a full-service AAA game publishing platform for Crunchyroll. They have brought in industry veterans from Sony, Riot Games, Activision, and Disney to kickstart their new gaming initiatives.
My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero is now available to download in English across North America, Latin America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, the Caribbean, and Scandinavia. Fans can find more information about the game HERE.
