Content (7/10):

Sei Takanashi works in an office and leads a busy life. One day, as she is on her way home, a strange light appears and takes her to another world: the Kingdom of Slantania. There she was summoned with a high school girl as a “Holy Maiden”. It quickly becomes clear that both were summoned to the kingdom through a ceremony. The crown prince quickly casts his eye on high school student Aira Misono and completely ignores her. She then leaves the palace and comes across unusual plants in a laboratory. There she learns more about the plants and the things the workers do there. She wants to help and learns how to make potions.

It quickly turns out that she has great talent and her potions have a significantly higher effect than the other potions. However, the more powerful potions should not be used, initially. One day, when a troop is seriously injured in an attack, Sei rushes to help. Commander Albert in particular is badly injured, which means that any help seems too late. She decides to use one of her more powerful potions in hopes of saving the commander. The effect of the potion unfolds and actually manages to heal him. Through this encounter, the Commander and Sei grow closer.

judgement

The rating of the story was not quite as good. That’s because the beginning seemed a bit sluggish. I think that was partly due to the weaker animation, which had a lot of still frames, and the rather slow progress in character development. In my opinion, too little has happened. However, there were always nice moments that came up more often from episode to episode. For this reason I am convinced that the further episodes only really start with the story. At least I hope that more will be shown from the fantasy world and also the dangers that hide there.

Animations (8/10):

In the anime, I noticed that the animations sometimes had a lot of still images or only a few were animated on the image. This gave the impression that savings were deliberately made here. Unfortunately, that turns out to be rather negative. But more work was put into important scenes, which allowed the anime to score in it.

Music (9/10):

I don’t really have anything against the music selection. The opening fits very well and also sounds very nice. In the anime, the music was appropriately accompanied.

«The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent» Opening

German localization (9/10):

The synchronization originated in the company Rescue Film GmbH in Munich directed by Daniel hosewho was also responsible for the dialogue book.

As usual, the synchronization was also very convincing here. I particularly liked Anouk Elias’ voice, which reminds me a little of Luisa Wietzorek’s voice.

Character German voice
Aira Misono Patricia Strasburger
Albert Hawke Peter Frerich
Elizabeth Ashley Paulina Rümmelein
Johan Valdec Patrick Roche
Jude Mio Lechenmayr
Sei Takanashi Anouk Elias
Yuri Drewes Tobias John von Freyend
Kyle Slantania Tobias Kern

Conclusion

In my opinion, the anime “The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent” has not yet reached its full potential. This is especially due to the somewhat sluggish beginning. However, I am convinced that the further episodes will get better and better and provide a lot of excitement. The impression was created especially by the last episode of the volume. I am sure that the anime will be of particular interest to fans of romance. Especially for those who are also interested in fantasy anime.
