THE FIRST TAKE project’s official YouTube channel has posted a one-take performance clip of “Akeboshi” (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc opening theme) by the song’s original singer LiSA, and composer Yuki Kajiura on piano.
As a double A-side single also including the anime’s ending theme, LiSA’s 20th single “Akeboshi / Shirogane” was released in Japan on November 17, 2021, and peaked at #4 on Oricon’s weekly single charts.
LiSA wrote on Twitter, “‘Akeboshi,’ the third song entrusted to me by Kajiura-san through Demon Slayer. I was alone with Kajiura-san at TFT. I gave my sharpened heart into the song. I hope you will enjoy ‘Akeboshi’ many times, which is different from my new album ‘LANDER’ released today. Congratulations on the third anniversary of TFT!”
