#The Promised Neverland Season 2 Gets New Key Visual, Staff Revealed

The Promised Neverland Season 2 received a new key visual and staff were also announced on the official website. 

CloverWorks is returning as the animation production studio. Many of the key staff are returning from season 1 including Mamoru Kanbe as the director, Toshiya Ono as the series composer, Kazuaki Shimada as the character designer, and Takahiro Obata as the music composer. 

The original manga writer Kaiu Shirai will also be joining as a series composer with Ono. The anime adaptation is based on the Weekly Shonen Jump manga written by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Osuka Demizu. 

The Promised Neverland Season 2 was originally scheduled for October 2020 but was delayed due to COVID-19. The show is now scheduled for January 7, 2021 in Japan. 

Crunchyroll, Funimation and HiDive are streaming the first season. Viz Media is publishing the manga in English and digitally on Shonen Jump.

Aniplex of America describes the first season as: 

The one adored as the mother is not the real parent. The people living here together are not actual siblings. The Gracefield House is where orphaned children live. An irreplaceable home where 38 siblings and Mom live happy lives, even with no blood relations. However, their everyday life suddenly came to an abrupt end one day…
