The Pour House in the city’s Back Bay neighborhood near Fenway Park announced the news on its Instagram Wednesday.
“It is with great regret to tell you that after 34 glorious years, it is time for us to say goodbye and thank you,” the bar wrote with a photo slideshow of happier times. “Due to COVID the ownership of The Pour House will be changing hands.”
Last year, the “Umbrella” songstress popped by the bar two days in a row to gobble a dish of wings, according to WHDH, which first reported the bar’s closure.
The station said there was no word yet on who would be taking over the eatery.
