#10-year-old boy killed in NYC shooting

A 10-year-old boy was killed and a man was wounded during a drive-by shooting in Queens on Saturday, police and sources said.

The child and a 29-year-old man were walking into a building at 342 Beach 45th St. in Far Rockaway around 9:30 p.m. when gunfire broke out, according to law enforcement sources.

The boy, who was struck in the abdomen, was taken to St. John’s hospital where he was pronounced dead, cops and sources said.

The man, who lives at that address, was hit in the shoulder and was expected to survive, according to the sources.

The gunfire erupted following an earlier argument with a neighbor, sources said.

Jacob — a neighbor who did not give his last name to The Post — said his family was having a cookout around the corner when the shooting started.

“They saw a guy pull up in a car and start arguing. They said someone went into the house. After that I guess they were arguing,” Jacob said.

And that’s when the shooting happened, Jacob’s family told him.

Police are reportedly searching for a black SUV that was allegedly involved in a drive-by shooting.

Two suspects fled down 171th toward Grand Concourse, according to police.

Several minutes earlier in the borough an 18-year-old was shot in the calf and a 20-year-old was shot in the foot at 528 Leland Ave in Castle Hill, the NYPD said.

The victims were taken to Jacobi Hospital where they are expected to recover, police said.
