#The moms and daughters on ‘sMothered’ are still uncomfortably close

‘sMothered” is now in its second season on TLC documenting the extremely close bonds between mothers and daughters who take their relationships to the next level — from clubbing together to sleeping in the same bed to bathing together.

The reality series, airing Sundays at 10 p.m., was an instant hit when it premiered last year and followed mother/daughter teams Dawn and Cher, Sunhe and Angelica and Kathy and Cristina.

They’ve all returned for Season 2, along with “sMothered” newbies Mary and Brittani, Laurie and Sarah and Marcia and Alena.

We caught up with the original stars to see how their lives have changed since starring on the maiden season of “sMothered.”

Dawn and Cher

Viewers watched last season as New Yorkers Dawn, 59, and Cher, 29 talked alike, dressed alike and spent as much time as possible together — causing friction with Cher’s husband, Jared, a plastic surgery resident.

In the first half of Season 2, Dawn and Jared continued to clash over Cher’s birth plan — she and Jared wanted an epidural, while Dawn pushed for natural childbirth. Baby Belle was born last July (Cher got the epidural).

“I love having my mom come to visit,” Cher tells The Post. “My husband works really long hours … and I don’t have a nanny or babysitter. The only person I trust is my mom. I always want her to come and stay with us and be there, but [Jared] also likes his privacy.”

And, she says, she’s indoctrinating Belle into her “sMothered” world, even though she looks more like Jared.  “I’m already dressing her like me now. It’s so fun,” she says. “[My mom and I] call us ‘The Triplets.’ ”

Sunhe and Angelica

Las Vegas-based Sunhe, 52, and daughter Angelica, 32 were one of the most outrageous pairs in Season 1, thanks to their practice of occasionally sharing bathwater. They say they still do that — just not as often.

“We do it every once in a while … maybe twice a month,” says Sunhe, who works in the beauty business. “It’s not planned, but if I want a good soak and the water is still hot, I ask Angelica, ‘Do you want to go in after me?’ ”

They still live together, even though Angelica is in a serious relationship. Her fiance, Jason, was a source of tension in Season 1 (Sunhe didn’t think he was good enough for her daughter). That’s spilled over into Season 2 following his divorce from his first wife so he can be with Angelica once and for all.

“I think that my mom has given Jason a little bit more leeway,” says Angelica. “And I think that his actions are proving that he does take our relationship seriously.”

Kathy and Cristina

Kathy, 61, and daughter Cristina, 35, live just five houses down from each other in Chicago — spending all day every day together going to concerts, eating meals and helping each other with home decor. In Season 1, they jokingly said they were each other’s “husbands.” Cristina’s real husband, Carlo, was not pleased — and that’s continued into Season 2.

“I’m working on doing some home renovations, so that puts us together even more every day, because she’s the person that helps me choose everything — not my husband,” says Cristina. Not making matters any easier is that, while Cristina’s home is being renovated, she, Carlo and their three kids are moving in with Kathy for five months.

“He’s not too excited about it,” says Cristina. “He wants to rent a house and not stay with her, but that’s not happening — so he’s going to have to deal with that.”

Yikes.
