#Our Rainy Protocol Esports Anime Coming in October 2023

An esports-themed TV anime titled Our Rainy Protocol, featuring character designs from OSHI NO KO and Rent-A-Girlfriend‘s Kanna Hirayama, is set to begin airing in Japan this October. A teaser trailer and visual have been released.

Kenshou Ono is playing protagonist Shun Tokinoya, a 17-year old who juggles school and part-time work to support his mother and sister, the latter of which is unable to walk due to an accident that claimed their father’s life. With the support of his friends, Shun slowly returns to the world of online games.

Also starring in Our Rainy Protocol are Sora Amamiya as Yuu Saegusa, Inori Minase as Nozomi Inatsuki, Momo Asakura as Mio Tokinoya, and Ryouhei Kimura as Akito Sendo.

Daishi Katou (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean Ep 13 director) is directing the anime with Yasutaka Yamamoto (Aharen-san wa Hakarenai) as chief director. Quad is the animation production company.
