#The Final Anime Gets New PV

The official website for the Fruits Basket anime revealed a new promotional video for its upcoming final season, Fruits Basket: The Final. The anime will premiere on April 5.

The staff of the first two Fruits Basket seasons includes Yoshihide Ibata (FLCL Progressive) as director, Taku Kishimoto (Haikyu!!) as series composer, Masaru Shindou (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma) as character designer, Youko Kamiyama as art director, Mika Sugawara (Charlotte) as color designer, Nozomi Shitara (Katanagatari) as photography director, and Masaru Yokoyama (Arakawa Under the Bridge) as music composer. TMS Entertainment is in charge of animation production.

The anime’s cast includes Manaka Iwami as Tohru Honda, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Yuki Sohma, Yuuma Uchida as Kyou Sohma, Yuuichi Nakamura as Shigure Sohma, and Maaya Sakamoto as Akito Sohma. WARPs UP will perform the opening theme song “Pleasure,” and GENIC will perform the ending theme song “Haru Urarara” (“Beautiful Spring”).

The anime’s first season premiered in April 2019 and aired for 25 episodes. Funimation and Crunchyroll streamed the first anime season as it aired.

Tohru Honda thought her life was headed for misfortune when a family tragedy left her living in a tent. When her small home is discovered by the mysterious Soma clan, she suddenly finds herself living with Yuki, Kyo, and Shigure Soma. But she quickly learns their family has a bizarre secret of their own: when hugged by the opposite sex, they turn into the animals of the Zodiac!
