Based on the romantic comedy manga by Koharu Inoue, J.C.Staff’s The Duke of Death and His Maid anime first premiered back in July. Now a sequel has been announced along with the premiere of a special promotional CM, so check that out below while we wait for more info.
The story of The Duke of Death and His Maid—the first season of which was directed by Yoshinobu Yamakawa—is described as follows:
A nobleman named Bocchan–. When he was a child, he was cursed by a witch with a curse that would make everything he touched die. The curse causes him to be rejected by those around him, and he has spent his days alone in a large mansion deep in the forest. The maid who serves him is Alice. But Alice’s presence is the source of his biggest worry because she routinely sexually harasses him…! Alice is always seducing Bocchan as close as she can get. Bocchan loves her but is not even allowed to hold her hand. Will their pure love really bear fruit…?
