After fans of The Demon Girl Next Door was treated to a second season announcement in August 2020, the official Twitter account of the TV anime series announced today that the wait for the second season will end when the first episode airs in April 2022! An updated visual for the second season of The Demon Girl Next Door was revealed alongside the news.

Based on the manga by Izumo Ito, the first season of The Demon Girl Next Door TV anime was directed by Hiroaki Sakurai and features animation production at J.C. Staff. The first season is currently available via streaming on HIDIVE, which describe the story as follows:
Yuko Yoshida is just an ordinary schoolgirl — until Lilith unleashes her dormant, devilish powers. Now Yuko must defeat Momo Chiyoda, the shrine maiden of the Light Clan who just so happens to go to her school!
