Chinese streaming service Bilibili has announced that a fourth season of The Daily Life of the Immortal King is in production. A new visual featuring the two lead characters, Wang Ling and Sun Rong, has also been released on the animated series’ Weibo account. 

The first 15-episode season was released on Bilibili from January 18, 2020 to March 28, 2020. It was later picked up for streaming by Netflix on June 30, 2021. The series was then renewed for a second season that aired from October 30, 2021 to January 8, 2022 and was also streamed on Funimation. A third season was released from September 30, 2022 to December 18, 2022. 

Seasons two and three of The Daily Life of the Immortal King contained 12 episodes each and are currently streaming on Crunchyroll. Haoliners Animation League handled the animation production for season one, while Pb Animation Co. Ltd took over for seasons two and three. 

The Chinese animated series is based on a novel by writer Kuxuan, which was first launched in 2017 and is published by Qidian in Chinese. Online reading platform Webnovel releases the original novel chapters in English. The novel series has collected over 2189 chapters, with 1176 chapters being translated into English as of June 2022.

Having vanquished a powerful demon at age six, precocious wizard Wang Ling must now navigate high school life as an ordinary teen.
