#The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World Reveals 2nd PV Trailer & Ending Theme, Airs January 9

A second new PV trailer has been revealed for the upcoming The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World TV anime series, which will air in Japan starting January 9, 2025. 

The trailer also reveals and previews the anime’s main ending theme “Aikurafuto” by the music unit Kiminone. Meanwhile, the opening theme song is “GIVE & TAKE” by Asaka.

Additionally, more production staff were also revealed to have worked on the series. They include Masakazu Miyake (Konosuba) as art director, Takuya Niwa (A Condition Called Love) as color key artist and compositing director of photography, and Jun’ichi Masunaga (Kizuna no Allele) as editor. Masami Kitakata (Black Clover) is credited with working on the sound effects and Cre-p Co., Ltd. is in charge of the art setting. 

Yoshihide Yuzumi (Chillin’ in My 30s after Getting Fired from the Demon King’s Army assistant director) is directing the anime series, with Masanao Akahoshi (Freezing) as series screenwriter, and Hiroyuki Moriguchi (Tohai: Ura Rate Mahjong Touhai Roku Episode 1 sub-character designer) as character designer. East Fish Studio is handling the animation production. 

The anime’s main voice cast stars:

• • Yu Kobayashi as Nyamena

The series originally began as a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel by Hifumi Asakura, which was serialized from September 13, 2017 to June 24, 2021. It was then turned into a light novel series on May 10, 2018, which is being published under SB Creative’s Tsugikuru Books label and illustrated by Yamakawa. Three volumes have been released as of April 2019. 

The novel also inspired a manga (of which the anime is adapting) by Umiharu, which was launched in Square Enix’s Monthly GFantasy magazine and ran from April 18, 2019 to May 17, 2024. Seven tankobon volumes have been released as of February 2024, with an eighth volume set for release on December 27, 2024. The manga is being released digitally in English by Comikey and the Manga Up! service. 

Manga Up! describes the premise of The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World manga as:

Ken’ichi, a single man who’s almost 40, is suddenly transferred to another world. As he navigates his way through the dangerous forests of that world, he realizes that he can use a huge online shopping site. Ken’ichi aims to use his cheat ability to live a slow life in another world!
