The Dragon Ball: The Breakers 1v7 multiplayer game is set to launch on October 21 this year, a recent release date trailer has revealed. The game will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S compatibility.

Dragon Ball: The Breakers will have a digital-only Standard Edition, a Special Edition, and a Bandai Namco Store-exclusive Limited Edition. Pre-orders for the first two editions will give players the Android 18 Transphere and Scouter (Blue) accessory. 

The Special Edition provides a pack that includes a customizable costume, the “Two-Handed Good” victory pose, and the “Dragon (Yellow)” vehicle skin. The Limited Edition offers the same pack as well as a Steelbook, Raider stickers, a Cell Shell Figure, and the Bandai Namco Store timed exclusive bonus “Potara (Green)” in-game accessory.

A Closed Network Test for the game is set to run from August 6 to August 7 on all platforms. The test hours are:

Revealed in late 2021 and described as being part of the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 universe, Dragon Ball: The Breakers involves seven human survivors attempting to escape a “Temporal Seam” via the Super Time Machine while a powerful Raider hunts them. The Raider character options include Dragon Ball villains like Cell, Buu, and Frieza, who can evolve into stronger forms.

Survivors will have access to vehicles and gadgets like grappling hooks. They’ll also be able to use Transpheres, described as devices that “contain the souls of Super warriors and grant special abilities and powers when used.”
