Tour New York’s buzziest shops and trending holiday pop-ups, where you’re sure to find something spectacular for everyone on your list.

Start your decadent shopping spree with the season’s most sparkly offerings. And by sparkly, we mean Harry Winston’s sweet clusters of diamonds, perfectly poised on a versatile platinum necklace. Worn classically bare above your decolletage or — in perhaps more modern fashion — atop a high-neck dress, the styling options abound. So, too, will the compliments you’ll receive while making the holiday party rounds in this beauty.

HILL HOUSE HOME

Fans of founder Nell Diamond’s crazy popular nap dresses have been experiencing separation anxiety since Hill House Home exited Bleecker Street two years ago. But at this Soho pop-up, open through Jan. 12, they can indulge in a selection of said dresses in seasonal patterns, merchandised in a British-interiors-inspired space alongside cardigans and joggers — with holiday gift wrap in a limited-edition “Winter Toile” print.

Susan Alexandra
“Star of Susan” necklace, $128 at Susan Alexandra

Susan Korn brings her Insta-famous brand of bright, colorful and extremely optimistic accessories under one roof with the opening of her first-ever retail shop, on the Lower East Side. Best sellers like customizable necklaces, home accessories and her iconic beaded bags populate this over-the-top space, which also features a mosaic fountain in a face design, complete with a Cindy Crawford-esque mole.

The Carlyle Hotel
Adam Kuehl

Rebecca Gardner brings her wonderfully quirky world to life in this beautifully styled pop-up at the Carlyle Hotel, through Dec. 12. The shop is stocked with everything you need to exquisitely style a party and ensure that it’s “a screaming blast,” from vintage silver and custom glassware to hand-embroidered linens, marbled party crackers and cheeky bespoke party hats in Christmas Tree, Oversized Ribbon and Top Hat-cum-Champagne Bucket motifs that you’ve got to see to believe.

BERGDORF GOODS AT BERGDORF GOODMAN | 754 Fifth Ave.

GABRIELA HEARST Catskill Hand-Embroidered Cashmere Sweater; $2,400
Gabriela Hearst “Catskill” cashmere sweater, $2,400 at Bergdorf Goodman

Bergdorf Goods — a store-in-store featuring exclusive giftable items, many with New York City themes — has just landed on the department store’s famed seventh floor. Pick up an Alice & Olivia sweater emblazoned with NYC icons, including a yellow cab and the Statue of Liberty; a Christopher John Rogers sweatshirt inspired by the store’s iconic shopping bags, embellished with multi-colored studs spelling out “Bergdorf Goodman”; or a one-of-a-kind Yankees clutch by Judith Leiber Couture. Five percent of sales from the pop-up, through Dec. 31, will benefit City Harvest.

GIFT ME CHIC
Cardsome matchbox, $10.50 at GiftMeChic

Elisabeth Jones-Hennessy’s go-to-site for luxurious gifting comes to life at New York Vintage through the end of the month, with many exclusive offerings sourced from around the world. Stave off holiday stress with beautifully packaged Black Dahlia CBD edibles, incense and skin care; snap up a colorful woven bag, bangle or bowl by Etnikarte; and toast the end of 2021 with a couple of Arion 1725 Swarovski-studded Champagne glasses.

ALEX MILL | 1182 Madison Ave.

ALEX MILL
Cashmere beanie, $98 at Alex Mill

Upper East Siders rejoice: Alex Mill has opened a Madison Avenue shop, meaning you no longer have to traverse several zip codes to stock your closet with the brand’s utilitarian chic staples. The new space features art by frequent collaborator Mary Matson. Holiday offerings include cheerful colorblock cardigans and vests, cozy cashmere jumpsuits and socks, bandana scarves by Marfa-based Communitie, and a tightly edited selection of home goods.

FIGURE 8.
“Bianca” Gold platform heels, $445 at AERA

Tina Bhojwani (a former CEO of Dolce & Gabbana) and Nicole Marra (an attorney who’s advised top international fashion brands including Gucci, Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen) joined forces to create Figure 8. The seasonal pop-up focuses on sustainable and vegan fashion, jewelry and beauty brands, including AERA, a shoe brand founded by Bhojwani. Others include Alexandra K vegan leather bags, artisanal fragrances by Maison d’Etto and teas by House of Waris.

ALTUZARRA
Blanket, $695 at Altuzarra

Fans of Joseph Altuzarra may remember his capsule home collection, created in collaboration with various Etsy makers, that dropped on the site last year and quickly sold out. It seemed he might have been testing the waters for the launch of this year’s home collection, available just in time for holiday gifting on his own website. The designer debuted nubby neutral blankets and pillows with fringe trim, created with a family run, women-owned textile producer in the Peruvian Highlands (the blankets can be customized with a monogram). His palm-leaf baskets are also handmade in Southern Mexico by a community of artisans.

Jason Wu Collection day dress, $1,595 at Saks Fifth Avenue

Former first lady and Girls Opportunity Alliance founder Michelle Obama was on-hand to inaugurate this multi-vendor shop, stocked with giftable women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, accessories, kids, home and beauty items. The highly curated selection includes pieces by Jason Wu, Oscar de la Renta and Christopher John Rogers, as well as candles by Lafco and Nest New York. All of the collection’s net proceeds through Jan. 1 will be donated to the Obama Foundation in support of GOA.

Tiffany Victoria “Vine” earrings in rose gold with diamonds, $13,000 at Tiffany & Co.
T|Tiffany & Co. Studio

Tiffany’s first foray downtown in almost 200 years is, naturally, in a jewel box of a building in the West Village. With interiors inspired by legendary designer Jean Schlumberger, the intimate space features a selection of his pieces, including a version of the iconic Bird on a Rock (worn by Jay-Z in the buzzy ad campaign), as well as more daytime-apropos designs from the Tiffany Knot and HardWear collections, showcased in a series of fantastical rooms, including one with an oversized snow globe. Through Jan. 8.

SoHo Home

The quirky cool interiors of Soho House locations around the globe can now be more easily emulated by mere mortals, thanks to the opening of Soho.Home.Studio in the Meatpacking District. The shop stocks pieces from the long-in-development Soho Home collection, along with a curated selection of products created by the Club’s members the world over. Soho House’s interior design service is also onsite, offering styling advice from the cool-kid pros.

TODD SNYDER
Clarks “Wallabee” boots, $170 at Todd Snyder

Todd Snyder’s takeover of the elevated-preppy men’s space continues with his third NYC shop, a 3,500-square-foot space on the promenade of Rockefeller Center. The designer calls it a “work-in-progress pop-up,” kitted out for the holidays with minimal decor. But it’s stocked with his greatest hits, including outerwear, suits, Rototo socks, collabs with L.L. Bean and Champion and (free) postcards, which Snyder commissioned from Insta-favorite illustrator Rob Wilson.

Washed-velvet down jacket, $795 at OTD — On This Day, 402 West Broadway

There’s a new kid on Soho’s hip West Broadway block between Spring and Broome. OTD — On This Day, a new multi-gender line from acclaimed designer John Varvatos, is a one-stop shop — and not just for its soon-to-be-signature modern essentials. (Though the brand has those on lock: think oversized knits and elevated track suits.) This newbie is clearly already part of the in-crowd.
