#That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Hits the Field for Soccer Crossover

If anyone knows teamwork makes the dream work, it’s Rimuru Tempest. The protagonist of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is the face of an upcoming collaboration with next month’s Fujifilm Super Cup 2022, in which 100 soccer and slime-sekai fans can pick up some cool limited-edition goods.

Also known as the Japanese Super Cup, the annual one-match soccer/football game serves as the season opener, and is played between the defending J1 League champions and defending Emperor’s Cup winners. This year, the match will be between Kawasaki Frontale and the Urawa Red Diamonds. A cute new art piece announces the collaboration, featuring Rimuru in a custom jersey bouncing a slime-type Rimuru soccer ball.

100 tickets will be available that get you a seat at the match and a package of commemorative goods. We’ll find out later what those goods are, but we have our fingers crossed for a Tempest jersey.

The Fujifilm Super Cub 2022 takes place Feburary 12.
