#Tesla Adds Disney+ to Its Theater Mode, Along with Other Nifty Features – Review Geek

Tesla owners will likely be thrilled by the latest software update, which adds a nice variety of new features. The additions include entertainment options, like Disney+, and an array of smaller quality-of-life updates. A Tesla owner even shared screenshots of the update on Reddit.

The addition of Disney+ is an exciting one, especially given that Tesla’s Theater Mode lineup already includes Disney-owned Hulu along with other popular services like YouTube, Netflix, and Twitch. Now you can catch up on Loki or keep your little ones entertained with their favorite Disney movies and shows.

There is also a new “Car Wash Mode,” which secures the vehicle before entering a car wash. It closes and disables things like the windshield wipers, windows, and parking sensor chimes. And should you choose to visit an automatic car wash that uses a conveyor belt, it’ll even switch the freeroll option to neutral so that your vehicle won’t auto-brake when you exit.

The update also brings a handy new dashcam auto-save feature to the table. Now, your Tesla will automatically store clips created when it detects an event (such as a collision). Any clips created are stored locally and won’t be shared with Tesla. It’s also worth noting that the company has made this feature opt-in by default for privacy reasons, so you’ll need to set that up if you’re interested in it.

A few other features made it into the update as well, including mirror auto-dimming, extra battery information, remaining connected to Wi-Fi in drive, and additional language support for Romanian, Russian, and Hungarian. Overall, the update should make things run a little more smoothly.
