#Teens Take Back Reality in D_CIDE TRAUMEREI THE ANIMATION Trailer

Sometimes reality is not what it seems, because a new preview video, a new key visual, and the Japanese TV schedule have all been revealed for D_CIDE TRAUMEREI THE ANIMATION, an upcoming TV anime based on the mixed media project by Sumzap, Inc., Drecom Co. Ltd., and bushiroad that plays with elements of the Cthulhu Mythos to tell a story about super-powered teenagers fighting back against monsters and cultists.

 

 

The story of D_CIDE TRAUMEREI THE ANIMATION is set in Shibuya and follows Ryuhei Oda, a second year high school student who loves kickboxing. As a child, Ryuhei witnessed his older brother die under mysterious circumstances, but in the present day he is a cheerful, outgoing student who doesn’t seem bothered by the darkness lurking beneath the surface of his surroundings. One night he encounters and is bitten by a weird creature named Tris, and Ryuhei’s dreams and his perception of reality take a strange turn…

 

A new key visual for the upcoming D_CIDE TRAUMEREI THE ANIMATION TV anime, featuring the main characters posing with their fantastical weapons against the backdrop of a city-scape at night where reality is fracturing.

 

D_CIDE TRAUMEREI THE ANIMATION is directed by Yoshikazu Kon and features animation production by Sanzigen. The series will broadcast in Japan according to the following TV schedule:

 

  • TOKYO MX: every Saturday during the 22:30 time slot beginning on July 10, 2021.
  • BS NTV: every Saturday during the 24:30 time slot beginning on July 10, 2021.
  • Sun TV: every Saturday during the 22:30 time slot beginning on July 10, 2021.
  • KBS Kyoto: every Saturday during the 23:30 time slot beginning on July 10, 2021.
  • TV Aichi: every Sunday during the 25:05 time slot beginning on July 11, 2021.
  • Hokuriki Asahi Broadcasting: every Sunday during the 25:30 time slot beginning on July 11,2021.
  • Asahi Broadcasting Nagano: every Monday during the 25:20 time slot beginning on July 12, 2021.
  • Hokkaido Television Broadcasting: every Monday during the 25:20 time slot beginning on July 12, 2021.
  • Shizuoka Broadcasting System: every Tuesday during the 25:25 time slot beginning on July 13, 2021.
  • Setonaikai Broadcasting: every Tuesday during the 25:30 time slot beginning on July 13, 201.
  • Higashinippon Broadcasting: every Tuesday during the 25:31 time slot beginning on July 12, 2021. (moving to Thursdays after the 2nd episode)
  • AT-X: every Tuesday during the 22:00 time slot beginning on July 13, 2021.
  • Nagasaki Culture Telecasting Corporation: every Wednesday during the 25:18 time slot beginning on July 14, 2021.
  • Niigata Television Network 21: every Wednesday during the 25:45 time slot beginning on July 14, 2021. (moving to Thursdays after the 2nd episode)
  • RKB Mainichi Broadcasting: every Friday during the 25:55 time slot beginning on July 16, 2021.
  • Shinhiroshima Telecasting: every Tuesday during the 26:00 time slot beginning on July 20, 2021.

 

Please note that some Japanese TV schedules count early-morning programming as late-night programming of the previous day, so for example the 24:30 time slot on Saturday evening is actually on Sunday morning at 12:30am JST.
