#Justin Timberlake and Ant Clemons Perform “Better Days” for Biden Inauguration: Watch

Justin Timberlake and Ant Clemons performed their new song “Better Days” as part of the Celebrating America special honoring the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Timberlake and Clemons performed at the Stax Museum of American Soul Music in Memphis, Tennessee. After kicking things off in one of the Stax studios, they were joined in the street by a full band and choir. Watch it all go down below.

At midnight tonight, a new version of the song featuring Clemons, Timberlake, and Kirk Franklin will arrive on streaming services. Timberlake and Clemons previously performed “Better Days” at Stacey Abrams’ Rock the Runoff Virtual Concert in December.

“The fact that the Stax Museum and Stax Music Academy were chosen by Justin Timberlake, Ant Clemons and the Presidential Inaugural Committee to represent Memphis, Tennessee in the 2021 presidential inauguration, speaks not only volumes about the power, magic, and timelessness of soul music, but also casts a bright light on the work we have been doing here at the Soulsville Foundation for more than 20 years now,” Soulsville Foundation President and CEO Richard Greenwald said in a statement. “We are grateful to our friend Justin Timberlake for embracing our mission and genuinely caring about the young people with whom we work every day.”

Other Inauguration Day performers included Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, John Legend, and the reunited New Radicals.
