The Recording Academy is announcing the nominees for the 2022 Grammy Awards on Tuesday, including the prestigious Album and Record of the Year, plus Best New Artist. The 64th Annual Grammy Awards broadcast is scheduled for January 31, 2022.

The Academy previously announced changes to the voting process after The Weeknd was critical of a process that left him with zero nominations at the 2021 Grammys, despite having one of the biggest albums of the previous year. His beef was with the “secret committees” who decided on the final list of nominations after voting among the wider Academy members concluded. They have now been scrapped in favor of simply nominating the artists who receive the most votes. Still, The Weeknd is keeping up his boycott of the awards.

Songs and albums are eligible if they were released from September 1, 2020-September 30, 2021.

This is a breaking news story. Nominations will be added as they come in
