Taylor Swift has won the Artist of the Year award at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, happening now at the Prudential Center in New Jersey. Swift beat out Beyoncé, Doja Cat, Karol G, and Nicki Minaj.
Swift was nominated in 11 categories at this year’s VMAs. She swept the show with nine wins, including the coveted Video of the Year Award and Song of the Year, which MTV said makes her the second-most decorated artist in VMAs history, according to NBC News.
