#Tales of Wedding Rings Season 2 in Production
Shortly after the broadcast of its season finale, a second season of Tales of Wedding Rings has been confirmed to be in production. The first season premiered in Japan on January 6, 2024 and ended with its 12th episode on March 23, 2024.
A commemorative visual featuring Hime and her younger sister, Morion, was released to celebrate the second season’s production. More information about the second season will be announced at a later date.
Another season finale story visual spotlighting all five Ring Princesses was also released.
Takashi Naoya (Vermeil in Gold) served as the anime’s director, with Deko Akao (My Stepmom’s Daughter Is My Ex) as series screenwriter, and Saori Nakashiki (The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!) as character designer. Staple Entertainment handled the animation production for the anime.
Meanwhile, the anime’s voice cast includes:

The anime is based on the fantasy romantic comedy manga series by Maybe, which first ran in Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan on March 25, 2014. Fourteen tankobon volumes have been released as of December 2023. The manga was released digitally in English on Crunchyroll’s manga platform, Yen Press also licensed the series for English publication in North America.
Crunchyroll is streaming Tales of Wedding Rings and describes the series as:
Satou is a high school boy in love with his best friend, Hime, an unearthly beauty from another realm. So when she moves back to her home world to get married, Sato doesn’t think twice — he follows her and crashes the wedding.
Then, after a kiss from Hime, he suddenly becomes the new groom! But here, Hime is a Ring Princess, and her husband is destined to be the Ring King: A hero of immense power.
