One of the surprises from the MAPPA 10th-anniversary event tonight is the reveal that the previously announced takt op. project will have its anime produced by MAPPA and Madhouse. A new trailer and visual was released alongside a broadcast date and key staff and cast.

Yuki Ito will direct the anime (storyboards on Attack on Titan Final Season; episodes 10, 15, 22 director on Demon Slayer) based on the original concept from DeNA and Sakura Wars video game creator Oji HiroiKiyoko Yoshimura (The God of High School) will be providing the series composition, with Reiko Nagasawa (sub-character designer on Overlord Season 3) drawing the character design based on LAM’s original characters. Yoshihiro Ike (Dororo) will be doing the music. The animation will be co-produced at MAPPA and Madhouse.

 

Koki Uchiyama (Toge Inumaki in JUJUTSU KAISEN) will be voicing the character Takuto Asahina.

 

The takt op. project was announced back in March as a mix-media project between DeNA and Bandai Namco. takt op.Destiny will start on Japanese TV on October 5 on TV Tokyo at midnight.
