Though many of us know Kaitlyn is currently dating fellow Bachelor Nation alum Jason Tartick (from Becca Kufrin’s Bachelorette 14), we thought it’s probably as good a time as any to check in with a few of Kaitlyn’s contestants, including winner Shawn Booth and runner-up Nick Viall, and see how they’ve been doing post-show.

Shawn Booth
Shawn and Kaitlyn were together for three years before eventually calling it quits in late 2018. Though Kaitlyn moved on with Jason Tartick, Shawn is seemingly still single. However, he does still live in Nashville where he owns a gym called Booth Camp.
Nick Viall
After his two experiences on The Bachelorette, Nick appeared on Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise. He then went on to become the Season 21 Bachelor, where he proposed to Vanessa Grimaldi. However, the couple split five months later. Nick has had great success since retiring from Bachelor Nation. Not only has he appeared on Dancing With the Stars, but he’s also started a podcast (called “The Viall Files), created an essential oil company, and has even started his acting career! He’s also had his fair share of relationship rumors — most notably with actress January Jones — but as of now, he is still single.
Ben Higgins
After placing third on Kaitlyn’s season, Ben became the Season 20 Bachelor. He ended up proposing to Lauren Bushnell, but the couple called it quits after more than a year together in May 201. He then began dating Jess Clarke a little more than a year later, and Ben popped the question in March 2020! Ben also co-hosts the “Almost Famous” podcast with Ashley Iaconetti, has a coffee business, and even co-hosted the Bachelor Live on Stage show with Becca Kufrin.
Jared Haibon
Jared appeared on both Season 2 and Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise, where he met and developed a strong friendship with Ashely Iaconetti. After years of just being friends, the duo revealed they were dating in May 2018 and they got engaged just one month later. The couple tied the knot in Rhode Island in August 2019, but they currently live in Los Angeles where Jared co-hosts the “Help! I Suck at Dating” podcast with Dean Unglert.
Chris Strandburg
Chris has never appeared on another Bachelor show following his time on The Bachelorette, but he did briefly date Hannah Godwin prior to her going on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor. However, Chris is happily dating Becca Pagani and he recently opened up a new dental office in California in November 2019.
Tanner Tolbert
Following his time on The Bachelorette, Tanner went on to appear on Season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise, where he met his wife Jade Roper. They tied the knot in January 2016 and welcomed their first child, daughter Emerson, in August 2017. They then had their second child, son Brooks, in January 2019, and revealed they’re expecting their third child in November 2020. The Tolbert-Roper family lived in Kansas City for a few years after getting together, but they made the move to California in 2018.
Ben Zorn
Ben went on to Season 4 of Bachelor in Paradise but didn’t find a connection. He then got engaged to Stacy Santilena in August 2019, but the couple was forced to postpone their wedding due to coronavirus.
JJ Lane
JJ began dating his former Bachelor in Paradise co-star, Juelia Kinney, in 2016. They ended up splitting up after a year of dating. JJ then started a relationship with Kayla Hughes, whom he married in February 2020. JJ lives in Denver with his wife Kayla and his daughter, Gemma.
Clint Arlis
Clint has not appeared on any Bachelor Nation shows since his time on The Bachelorette, but he does live in Chicago and he’s in a relationship with his longtime girlfriend, Fiona.
