The resident of the Queens home where suspected bomb-making materials were discovered after a fire has been charged with reckless endangerment, cops confirmed Wednesday morning.

Marak Squires, 37, who lives in a home on 19th Street across from Astoria Park, was arrested at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center — where police brought him Tuesday after finding him acting erratically in the first-floor apartment.

He remained at the hospital Wednesday morning.

Authorities said they were tipped off to the potential explosives after the home erupted in flames around 2 p.m. that day.

The landlord, who lives on the block, stumbled upon some suspicious packages while surveying the fire damage, police said.

He called the FDNY, who passed along the intel to police, sources said.

NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Intelligence and Counterterrorism John Miller said at a Tuesday night press briefing that the findings “included a number of chemicals, a number of packages, a number of books and manuals,” about military explosives and booby traps.

Investigators also found suspected ammonium nitrate and wick cords used for fuses.

“There was no assembled device found, at this point,” Miller noted. “But I think the concern would be, the individual chemicals that were found, and what they could combine to make.”

Investigators are awaiting a warrant to continue searching Squires’ apartment, according to Miller.
