The super-powered merc with the mouth has stepped into the manga medium, because Marvel Comics' irreverent and ultra-violent anti-hero character, Deadpool, now has his own manga series in Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ digital manga magazine.

The new series, entitled Deadpool: Samurai, is written by Sanshiro Kazama and features artwork by Hikaru Uesugi. The first chapter is now available (in Japanese), and additional chapters will be published every Thursday. The first chapter demonstrates Deadpool's penchant for 4th-wall breaking humor and ridiculous bloodshed, and the official series description promises a "super collaboration" with more Marvel and Jump characters getting wrapped up in the action.
