#Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie TV Anime Announces Its Premiere Date of April 2, 2022

Along with a key visual featuring its main heroine Shikimori-san and the male protagonist Izumi-kun, the official website for the forthcoming TV anime adaptation of Keigo Maki’s romantic comedy manga Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie announced today that it is set to premiere on ABC TV/TV Asahi networks’ “ANiMAZiNG!!!” programming block on April 2, 2022.

The site also announced that popular YouTube singer Nasuo☆ will sing the anime’s OP theme song, while voice actress/singer Yuki Nakashima (Lisa Imai in BanG Dream!) will perform the ED theme song.

Message from Nasuo☆:

This is my first time to sing an anime theme song. I was eating my favorite karaage lunch box when they told me, “You’re chosen.” I still remember that my normal everyday life suddenly became an anniversary, and I felt the karaage tasted even better. I am more than happy to be able to report such a wonderful news to all my fans. I would also like to say to everyone who will meet me through “Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie” – Please let me deliver you “Not Just a Cutie” with all my might.

I’m Yuki Nakashima, and I’ll be in charge of the ED theme song for the TV anime “Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie.” The distance between the two makes me smile, and the feeling of wanting to watch over them… isn’t that just awesome…! I think it is going to be the perfect ending song for the world view of Shikimori-san! I hope you’ll listen to it along with the anime until the end! 

And, in addition to the previously announced Saori Onishi as Shikimori-san and Shuichiro Umeda as Izumi-kun, three more voice cast members are confirmed – Misato Matsuoka as Kyo Nekozaki, a friend of Shikimori-san, Rina Hidaka as Yui Hachimitsu, another friend of Shikimori-san, and Nobuhiko Okamoto as Shu Inuzuka, a friend of Izumi-kun.
