King Von’s estate has announced that a new album from the late Chicago rapper is coming soon. What It Means To Be King will be released on March 4 via Only The Family/EMPIRE. Along with the album announcement, a new single featuring 21 Savage has been shared. Listen to the Kid Hazel-produced “Don’t Play That” below.
In 2020, King Von released his debut album Welcome to O’Block. A week after releasing his debut album, Von was killed in Atlanta. He was 26 years old. Since his passing, Von has been posthumously featured on Lil Durk’s “Still Trappin,” label compilation Only the Family – Lil Durk Presents: Loyal Bros, PnB Rock’s “Rose Gold,” and more. King Von’s last self-conceptualized music video, “Demon,” was released in August of last year.
