#Family creates 2020-themed Christmas tree topper

“#Family creates 2020-themed Christmas tree topper”
2020 has been plagued by a Ho-Ho-Whole lot of mischief. But one creative family is now turning all of that grief into Christmas comic relief.
Doing away with the Yuletide tradition of crowning their Christmas tree with a halo-topped angel or a glistening decorative star, Stephen Schneider of Marysville, Washington, and his family crafted a 2020-themed tree topper, featuring quirky quotes and baubles representative of this messy year’s most memorable moments.
Carole Baskin steering a dumpster sleigh full of toilet paper led by ferocious big cats, “Tiger King” Joe Exotic, a murder hornet and US Vice President Mike Pence with a huge fly perched on his head all dance around the merry-go-round-like ornament, which stars a model ultrastructure of the COVID-19 cell at its top and hellfire flames at its base.
The artful adornment is further garnished by some of the year’s hottest hashtags, including “WAP,” “This is ‘Jeopardy,’” and “Flatten the Curve.”
Schneider’s trendy tree topper, which is currently going viral on social media, is just one of the many decorative displays of 2020 devastation folks are using to make the year’s end merry and bright.
“I figure I should mark my first Christmas tree with a 2020-appropriate tree topper,” one Twitter user wrote, captioning a photo of her Christmas tree topped by an angel made out of face masks.
