#Boosie Badazz Claims He Makes $500K A Year From ‘VladTV’

Boosie Badazz has revealed that he isn’t doing his viral VladTV interviews out the kindness of his heart, instead he’s being paid a pretty hefty sum for his often controversial opinions.

During an appearance on The Breakfast Club on Monday (November 13), the Louisiana rapper claimed he makes six figures annually from his frequent appearances on the channel.

Boosie was answering a question from the hosts about whether he would ever do a podcast with his frequent rhyme partner Webbie. He said that he’d only do it if he could be paid millions of dollars.

“Ain’t that kind of money in it,” co-host Charlamagne Tha God said, implying that being paid millions for a podcast was an unrealistic goal.

Boosie replied by talking about his VladTV apperances. “Well I don’t want [a podcast with Webbie],” he said. “I could make half a million with Vlad every year, man. I don’t really need [podcast money]. Vlad help me out a lot more.”

Charlamagne checked one more time to confirm the $500,000 figure, to which Boosie Badazz replied: “Close to it.”

Elsewhere during the interview, Boosie discussed his new “Batman mansion,” his performance on the CBS special ‘A Grammy Salute to 50 Years of Hip Hop,’ which airs next month, the status of his joint album with T.I. and more.

He also responded to Sexyy Red’s claim that she was a “modern day” version of him.

“I thought about it and I was like, ‘She kinda right!’ Because people respect my ratchetness. You might not like it, you might not like it, but you respect it,” he said, speaking directly to Charlamagne and DJ Envy.

He continued: “I’m not hiding something, I’m not trying to be somebody I’m not. I’m who I am and that’s what Sexyy Red is.”

Sexyy Red’s initial comments came last week when she took to X (formerly Twitter) and crowned herself the “modern day Boosie.”

She didn’t provide any additional explanation, but both rappers have enjoyed success with unapologetic songs like “Wipe Me Down” and “SkeeYee,” while also courting controversy for various comments and antics.
