Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden will visit Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Thursday following President Trump’s review of riot damage on Tuesday.

The former vice president “will hold a community meeting in Kenosha to bring together Americans to heal and address the challenges we face,” his campaign said in a statement.

Biden and his wife “will make a local stop” afterward, the guidance says.

On Tuesday, Trump toured the wreckage of businesses burned during rioting in the wake of the Aug. 23 police shooting of Jacob Blake, 29, who survived but may be paralyzed.

Trump pushed a “law and order” message during his visit and he did not meet with Blake’s family, though a pastor claiming to represent Blake’s mother attended a round table discussion with Trump.

Biden rarely travels due to the coronavirus pandemic, but on Monday he traveled to Pittsburgh, Penn., and argued in a speech that he would bring social stability after months of unrest following the May killing of George Floyd by Minnesota police.

“Since they have no agenda or vision for a second term, Trump and Pence are running on this, and I find it fascinating: ‘You won’t be safe in Joe Biden’s America.’ And what’s their proof? The violence we’re seeing in Donald Trump’s America,” Biden said.

The former vice president alleged, “Donald Trump adds fuel to every fire.”
