# Famitsu Sales: 1/24/22 – 1/30/22 [Update]

Pokemon Legends: Arceus for Switch was the highest selling new release and the only new title to chart in the top 10. Opening at 1,424,657 retail sales, it is the second highest opening week for a Switch title only behind Animal Crossing: New Horizons 1,880,626-unit launch.

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 99,078 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 23,339 units, the Xbox Series family sold 1,696 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 11 units. Next-generation consoles continue to face stock issues.
