#Upcoming Fitbit Charge 5 Could Suggest Workouts Based on Your “Daily Readiness” – Review Geek

Last week, leaked images confirmed that the upcoming Fitbit Charge 5 will use a full-color display. But the tracker’s features were still a mystery. Now, a Fitbit Charge 5 advertisement leaked by SnoopyTech leaves nothing to the imagination—it shows all of the Charge 5’s notable new features, including its ability to suggest workouts based on your “Daily Readiness Score.”

Fitbit’s new Daily Readiness Score is similar to Garmin’s Body Battery and Whoop’s Recovery features. While we don’t know all the details, the Charge 5 can suggest daily workouts based on your activity, sleep, and heart rate. If you’ve spent a week with poor sleep, for example, your Daily Readiness page may suggest guided yoga over outdoor cycling.

But there’s a catch; the Daily Readiness Score is a Fitbit Premium exclusive. The company will provide six months of Premium to all Charge 5 buyers, which is nice, but it’s a shame to see such a useful feature tucked behind a subscription. (Daily Readiness will probably roll out on other Fitbit devices, given that it exists to sell Premium memberships. But this is just speculation.)

The Charge 5 also packs an ECG for heart monitoring and an EDA for stress management—two features that are currently exclusive to the Fitbit Sense. The new full-color display is also a major upgrade, though everything else about the watch appears to be a carryover from the Charge 4. That means blood oxygen readings, GPS, activity tracking, sleep tracking, and Spotify control.

According to leaker SnoopyTech, the Fitbit Charge 5 will cost $179. That’s $30 more than the Charge 4’s launch price, but hey, maybe a full-color display and several other new features (plus six months of Premium) are worth the extra money. We still don’t have a release date for the Charge 5, though.
