“The Idolmaster Million Live! Anime Reveals Fall 2023 Release Date, Special PV and Visual”

A new promotional video for The Idolmaster Million Live! anime has revealed a Fall 2023 release window. The video also provides a look at the anime’s designs for Mirai Kasuga (Haruka Yamazaki), Shizuka Mogami (Azusa Tadokoro), and Tsubasa Ibuki (Machiko).

The three characters are featured in a newly released visual as well.

The Idolmaster Million Live! idol producer simulation game launched in Japan in 2013 for mobile and in 2016 on PC browsers, but came to an end in 2018. However, 2017’s The Idolmaster Million Live! Theater Days mobile game is still in service. The games’ cast includes the idols of the original The Idolmaster as well as many new faces.

The anime will follow the growth of the 765 Pro Live Theater from its beginning with a focus on Mirai.

Shinya Nishikida (Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE, The Idolmaster Million Live! “Seven Count” supervisor) is directing The Idolmaster Million Live! with Youichi Katou (Yokai Watch) as series composer and scriptwriter. Shirogumi is the animation production company.

The Idolmaster (stylized as THE iDOLM@STER) multimedia franchise begin with a 2005 arcade game that was ported to the Xbox 360 in 2007. It has since spawned multiple games and anime, with the latter including series like 2007’s Idolmaster: Xenoglossia, 2011’s The Idolmaster, 2015’s The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls, and 2017’s The Idolmaster SideM. The franchise has also inspired radio shows, drama CDs, soundtrack releases, and print media.
