The NBA fined Kevin Durant $25,000 on Friday for “directing obscene language toward a fan” during the Nets’ loss to the Mavericks at Barclays Center on Wednesday.

Video that began on TikTok went viral, with a fan telling the Nets star late in the second quarter, “You’ve got to take this game over.”

Durant responded to the fan, “You’ve gotta shut the f–k up and sit down.”

As the video was being passed around, it landed in front of Durant, who tweeted, ”Damn smh [shaking my head],” along with a picture of a woman handing over money.

This is the second time the NBA has gone after Durant’s mouth this season. He was also fined $25,00 in December for telling a heckler to “shut yo ass up, motherf—-r.”
