From August 5th to 7th, 2022, one of the most important conventions in Europe for Japanese (pop) culture returns after a 3-year break. (The event did not take place in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID19 pandemic.) With only 3 weeks until the convention, the organizers have finally proudly presented the program at Rosengarten Mannheim.

As always, visitors can expect a broad program of panels, contests, workshops, concerts, food and much more. One of the highlights are the premieres of certain anime films and series. And one of the premieres is to the hit franchise «Demon Slayer».

According to the program plan, Saturday, August 6, 2022, between 11:45 p.m. and 12:30 a.m., the premiere of episodes 1 and 2 of «Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc» with German dubbing occur. The running time of the two episodes is about 46 minutes and are suitable for ages 16 and over. The episodes also start in the CineMagic room directly after the screening of the “Demon Slayer: Mugen Train” film in German (9:45-11:45 p.m.), the sequel to the first anime season and predecessor of the “Entertainment District Arc”. .

So far, the “Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc” is only available on Crunchyroll and WAKANIM with German subtitles. Another publication of the arc and the TV cut version of “Demon Slayer: Mugen Train Arc” is not known. Season 1 and its sequel “Mugen Train” (film version) have been available on DVD and Blu-ray from peppermint anime since 2020. A sequel to the anime with the «Swordsmith Village Arc» has already been announced.
