The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn this August — either with a limited audience or none at all due to the coronavirus crisis, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Monday.
The annual awards show, scheduled for Aug. 30, will follow all safety guidance amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Cuomo said during a press briefing in Manhattan.
The Barclays Center previously hosted the VMAs in 2013.
