The first season of The Woods is now streaming on Netflix and it provides viewers with some much-needed mystery and thrills. With many questions still unanswered, will the series be renewed for a second season? Here’s what we know!

Let’s break down what truly happened to Kamila, if she’s truly still alive, and whether Netflix will give fans a second season.

What happened to Kamila on The Woods?

Wojtek leads Kamila and Artur to their cheating partners and encourages them to plan revenge. The idea is to go skinny dipping at a lake, but steal Monika and Daniel’s clothes. However, the plan goes all sorts of wrong when Kamila knocks Monika out. A disturbed Wojtek kills Monika, and Artur stabs Daniel to death by mistake (believing he was Wojtek).

Kamila and Artur run and find their mothers, who then send them into hiding to protect them from facing murder charges.

Pawel Kopinski is still not over the disappearance of his sister or his mother (who was murdered by her abusive husband) and is hopeful of learning what truly happened when Artur turns up dead.

The final moments of the season show what audiences believe are Kamila’s current whereabouts. But the camera stops when they are about to reveal the truth. Still, it’s pretty obvious that Kamila is alive, but that doesn’t mean the mystery is over.

Unfortunately, the mystery-thriller has not yet been renewed by Netflix, but that doesn’t mean it’s not happening.
