“#Demon Slayer Game Will Let You Turn the Tables as Playable Demons in Free Update”

When Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles makes its debut, fans will be able to turn the tables on the heroes. Aniplex announced that a free update will be available after launch to add in the demons themselves as playable characters in Versus Mode.

Prior to the update, demons are only available in the game as enemies in single player mode. As for exactly when the update will go live, more details will be announced in the future. We’ll also have to wait to see which of the demons that appear in the campaign will be available as playable additions to the Versus Mode roster.

Some new screens from the Natagumo Mountain Arc portion of the game went up along with the news.

Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles is due out on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam in North America and Europe on October 15.
