The cover features the main character, Tetsuo Tosu, sitting in a stuffed leather chair in a room with hardwood floors. Tetsuo sits with his legs crossed and his hat clutched to his chest. He wears a white long-sleeved business shirt, a green tie with a stripe pattern, light green slacks, and brown loafer shoes. He has a half-smiling, half-ambivalent expression upon his face.

My Home Hero is serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine. The series follows Tetsuo Tosu, a middle-aged salaryman who becomes embroiled in the criminal underworld after he confronts and accidentally kills his college-age daughters abusive gangster boyfriend. Backed into a corner, Tetsuo will use any means at his disposal to protect his family.
