BMF TV show on Starz: canceled or renewed?

BMF returned for its second season on Starz on Friday, and viewers may see a lot more from the show’s universe in the future.

Starring Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr., Da’Vinchi, Russell Hornsby, Michole Briana White, Myles Truitt, Steve Harris, Kelly Hu, and La La Anthony, the crime drama series follows the unconventional journey to success of Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory (Flenory, Jr.) and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory (Da’Vinchi). They’re two brothers who rose from the decaying streets of southwest Detroit in the late ’80s and gave birth to one of the most influential crime families in the country: Black Mafia Family.

Per Deadline, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson revealed at the premiere party for BMF season two that he has plans for three spin-off series. He did not reveal any details about his plans but called the franchise BMF: Immortal. Titles and additional details will be released at a later date.

Jackson executive produced and starred in the popular Power TV series (2014-20) on Starz and is one of the executive producers of the series’ three spin-offs — Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, and Power Book IV: Force.

Though Jackson didn’t renew his exclusive deal with Starz in September, he and the cable channel remain committed to creating content connected to BMF and the Power series.

What do you think? Are you excited to hear there could be more BMF on Starz?
