#Netflix’s Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness CG Anime Reveals Release in New Trailer

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness

During Resident Evil’s 25th Anniversary Showcase this morning, the newest trailer for the upcoming CG anime series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness was released, as well as announcing the lead staff on the series and a July premiere on Netflix worldwide.

Directing the CG anime series is Eiichiro Hasumi in his first directorial role for a CG anime after directing live-action films Umizaru and the Assassination Classroom live-action adaptations. Hasumi said that “although this is a full CG anime, I tried my best to make it feel more like a live-action film by using camerawork and lighting techniques that come as close as possible to what I usually do in live-action.” Hasumi is working on the series at Quebico with TMS Entertainment producing.

Yugo Kanno, known for his work on Psycho-Pass and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, will be composing the music for Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness.
