#Suzu/Belle VA Kaho Nakamura Sings Insert Song “Utayo” for Mamoru Hosoda’s BELLE with A Piano

Today on the theatrical release day of Mamoru Hosoda’s new anime feature film Ryu to Sobakasu no Hime / BELLE in Japan, singer-songwriter Kaho Nakamura posted a performance clip of the film’s insert song “Utayo.” She is also cast as the film’s protagonist Suzu Naito / Belle (this is her first anime voice acting job).

The lyrics of “Utayo” were written by herself, while the music was composed by Ludvig Forssell, who is known for his soundtrack works for Kojima Productions’s video games such as Death Stranding and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The song is also released digitally today, and will be followed by two more songs by Belle – “Kokoro no Soba ni” (Close to the heart) on July 23 and “Hanarebanare no Kimi he Part 1” (To you who is separated from me) on July 30.
