#Ayaka Releases New Character Trailer

The Ayaka original anime has received a new character trailer that features shinto priest Haruaki Kurama and his pupils Chataro Fukuwake and Yako Amano.

The voice cast for Chataro and Yako were also revealed. Yako is voiced by Yuuma Sakakihara while Chataro is voiced by Gakuto Kajiwara.

Ayaka will premiere sometime in July. The supernatural anime follows Yukito Yanagi, an orphan with water-manipulating powers, who is taken back to his hometown by the arrogant Jingi Sagawa, who claims to be a pupil of Yukito’s late father. Aside from Jingi, other pupils include Haruaki and Aka Ibuki, the chief of an organization that exterminates entities called Aramitama. 

The anime’s staff includes:

• Director: Nobuyoshi Nagayama (Love Flops)

• Series composer and scriptwriter: GoRA (K series)

• Character designer: Misaki Kaneko (Smile Down the Runway) 

• Music composer: Kana Shibue (Sasaki and Miyano)

• Animation production company: Studio Blanc.

The cast includes Yuuto Uemura as Yukito, Takuma Terashima as Jingi, Kousuke Toriumi as Haruaki, and Yuuichirou Umehara as Aka. Takahiro Sakurai was originally the voice of Haruaki before losing the role in February.
